Position Summary:
The cook/griller is in charge of preparing the restaurant's food, following the recipe book and procedure provided by the company. He has extensive knowledge in terms of cooking meat on the grill and maintains strict discipline in cleaning and quality control of the products. You must have general knowledge of food preparation and work with measurements, possess skills that allow you to offer good service and be efficient in your work. Maintains standards of service and cleanliness at all times.

Work assignments:
- Be agile executing the preparation process, as well as fast and efficient in the production line.
- Arrange work stations with all the necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare the ingredients for cooking (cut and chop, etc.).
- Cook food on various equipment (stove, deep fryer, grill).
- Guarantee an excellent presentation.
- Maintain a hygienic and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Make sure all food and other products are properly stored.
- Check the quality of the ingredients.
- Use proper sanitation guidelines.
- Clean equipment.
- Prepare dishes according to the menu, following the recipe book.
- You must know the varieties of meat, fish and products that we offer on the menu.
- Able to follow directions to cook and serve well-prepared meals.
- Refill any material or product that is running out.
- Assist in general cleaning of the restaurant.

- Cleaning: Maintain work area and assist the team in general cleaning of the restaurant (sweep, map, scrub and/or disinfect).

- Performance of General Physical Activities: You must occasionally perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate to maximum force, such as lifting, walking, and handling materials.
- Speed and Efficiency- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure, performing your job effectively.
- Initiative- Provide recommendations and best practices to your supervisor.
- Colleagues- Ability to work as a team and collaborate with other members of the restaurant staff.

- Diplomacy- Empathy and courtesy in dealing with customers and co-workers.
- Image- Neat and discreet (good personal hygiene habits) and use the dress code stipulated by the company at all times.

Compensation: $10.00 per hour
