 Job Description 

The Push position functions as a communication link between the various food production areas in the kitchen. It ensures the coordination and smooth flow of legendary products being produced and assembled. This allows waiters to deliver food orders to their guests in a timely manner.

Job Tasks 

Essential Function Statement(s)

• Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, rules, policies, and department procedures.

• Gather the food order until its completion.

• Understands and follows proper guidelines for plaques.

• Maintains cooking time standards and meal ticket times.

• Ensures that food is served on clean, hot plates

• Handles re-cooking and firing.

• Coordinates with other line positions.

• Serve hearty side dishes for all guests.

• Project voice so everyone online can hear it.

• Understands food cost standards.

• Maintains a sense of urgency.

• Ability to read recipes and preparation sheets.

• Maintains adequate standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift.

• Prepare all food.

• Understand that this is the top position in the line and quarterback of the kitchen.

• Maintains adequate uniform and hygiene standards at all times.

• The ability to have fun at work.
